Check your State requirements to become a State Certified
Building Inspector.With your background you may be qualified.
You must also know Electric,Heating,and Plumber but,you can
also get certified as a Construction Inspector Technician and
do just structural inspection.I can tell you that you will never be
out of work and can go to any state with the right certifications.
