Go into your network settings, right click on the adapter, go to properties, then select TCP/IP, from there you will see the IP address settings, if there are none there or its greyed out your computer does not have a static IP address.

Also visit www.whatismyip.com for the IP your computer is using while browsing the web..

Also, click on Start, Run and type in CMD, then hit Enter. At the command prompt type ipconfig
Then type exit when finished to get out of the command prompt.

If you mean an assigned static IP and not your internet service providers given IP then goto Run (should be on your start menu), type in cmd and press enter. Then into the black box that pops up type "ipconfig" (without the quotes) you should get the IP address that you computer currently has which if set to a static IP address it will be the static one.

Viewing Your Computer’s IP Information

Begin by first clicking on the Start Button.

Then click on the Run Icon, which will open up the Run Menu for you.

Locate the white area of the screen next to the word Open: in the Run Menu.

Now type in the word COMMAND and click on the OK button at the bottom of the screen.

If you are behind a router your router's IP address will be shown since thats is all the internet ca see.

If you need to know your computer's IP address on your local network and are behind a router then press START -> RUN and type in cmd and press enter. When the command prompt appears (black window) type in ipconfig /all and you will get a bunch of text with will tell you your IP address.

In windows click on "start" "run" and type "cmd"

Right-click My Computer, select Computer Name tab, write down Full computer name. Close properties. Click Start>Run, type: cmd
select run/ok.
In the command prompt and type: ping (computer name)
