I have two children, one 17 months, and one 8yrs that I homeschool. I have been babysittiing to bring in an extra income, but it is really interfering with homeschooling my son who has ADHD. I would like some real advice on making income at home that does not involve scams and a big payout up front to begin.

Hi,

To be honest, you are probably not going to find an honest job online working from home. Any opportunities you find that require a start up fee or money up front is a scam don't get sucked in!!

I encourage you to immediately put these jobs out of your mind. Here are some of my tips when looking for a job....

Networking - Register at your local Unemployment Office (you don't need to be on unemployment to register for their assistance). They often will have networking groups on a regular basis. They also are a good source for the jobs that never show up in the paper or online.

Check your local paper -- In many cases the papers classified are now online.

Search Smart Online -- If you don't have a lot of time, spend most of your time at sites that aggregate the job feeds from several job search engines. Prominently these include indeed.com and thingamajob.com.

Organization -- I use a FREE online application that allows you to track your ads, jobs you apply for, send or print mail merged correspondence, and track your job search history. This site is jobsearchlog.com
I invite you to check it out and you'll be able to keep track of what you apply for.

Good Luck,

Karen

You can find some kinda arts and crafts to make and sell
I crochet blankets and sell them at nice cost and not high price
you could bake cookies
sew clothes, hem pants or do the patch quilt
it is relaxing and plus you will enjoy the quiet time and think of other ways to make ends meeet
hope this help

You may do a job at home, there are couple of companies which require internet based jobs, or they have jobs where the company will deliver the stuffs to your home and collect them back when you are done. You may try home cooking for sale or do some emboidery, knitting, paintings and put them up for sale. You may consider tuition as they do not take much of your time.
