Democrats needn't bother answering this one, I know what you think about Gingrich. This is a Question for all the other people out there.

Speaker Gingrich has shown himself time & time again to be a great thinker, but he is so polerizing, It would bring Libs out in droves to defeat him.
Senator Clinton enlists the same respone, as I will work harder than ever to defeat her.

Does this mean another 50.1% : 49.9% vote with no middle ground? Moderates like McCain and Liebermann would never make it through the Primaries.

Modern Democrats and Republicans can't even sit in the same rooms together anymore. I personally blame the Dems, who will never forgive Republicans for the 1994 victory, ending 30 years of Democrat control. But I know the Dems will believe it is all my fault just for being born (i.e. - not aborted). I wish no ill will to the Democrats, I just hope they "Wither on the Vine", and you can quote me on that!

I agree with you that Gingrich is a brilliant man, but I think he does have too much baggage to make a sucessful run at the White House. Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter are both conservative Republicans but lack the name recognition at this point. They also have the distinction of being the only two in the field who are willing to take a hard line on immigration (especially Tancredo, who I'm personally supporting.) Sam Brownback falls into the same conservative category, but he has yet to take a stand on the immigration issue. Rudy Guliani is probably the only Republican at this point who could beat Hillary in the general election, but his moderate views will pose great problems in the primaries.

Ooh yeah, let's vote for a guy who left his wife while she was in the hospital being treated for cancer so he could marry his mistress.
But even better, here's a guy who said recently that we should lose even more rights so we could be safe.I don't think so.We've had about enough of the Nazis amongst us.
And as for blaming the Democratic Party for the polarized state in modern politics is just another Republican lie. It's been the years of GOP branding anyone who disagrees with them as cowards and traitors.
BTW,I'm an Independent, but when I see the typical Republican BS,which is much worse than that of the Democrats,it just makes me wanna puke.

I like newt and would support his run for the Presidency. Like you said he is very polarizing and he has a lot of skeletons in his closet. I like and support Duncan Hunter you chould check him out. He has proven himself a conservative over the last 30 years.

I would vote for Newt in a heart beat, he is a great thinker, and would be a great president, and he would drive the liberals nuts.

Newt has too much dirty laundry. Once they start digging he will be dropping out fast.
