I felt the same way, sort of sad and scared but at the same time excited. Enjoy the time you have left with your friends and family, and stay in touch with them when you're in college. Don't worry too much. College is a lot of fun and you'll be surprised how quickly you'll get used to it. If you think back four years ago, you were worried about leaving junior high and starting high school, too.
All of your friends now probably feel exactly the same way you do now, so you can talk to them about it. You can also visit the college that you're planning to go to so you can get a feel for the campus and it won't seem so strange when you're actually living there. And remember that all the other freshmen will be in exactly the same situation as you are, so you and the friends you make at college can help each other through the transition as well.

That's natural, I felt that way when I graduated, that bitter sweet feeling of YES I'M GRADUATING but that feeling of damn I'm graduating. Everything must come to end at some point and the best thing to is to move forward and embrace the next step. You still have college to look forward to and it's really fun, you have sororities, fraternities, classes, new friends, games, clubs and parties to look forward too. Also the new freedom, which can be a little scary at first but just welcome change with a positive attitude and great confidence and your be perfectly fine. But don't be upset just look back and smile and laugh at all the good times.

Same. I was nervous at first but you realize that life has to go on and then you get used to your new life. My dad always tells me, "The only constant in life is change so you better get used to it."

When I graduated high school, I had two choices: College or the draft. I choose high school.

You speak of change as if it is an option, it is not. Frankly, these feeling that you are usual after college, when your educational life is really behind you.

You need to look forward not backward. You need to see what your real options are. You talk as if you are going through some great change, when you are just graduating from high school.

Right now, you can see what you have done, examine what are your options, make some choices. Welcome to adulthood.
