Sorry, I honestly don't know of any that don't require shockwave or Active X

Perhaps you might find something on http://www.addictinggames.com/ that doesn't require flash? I believe there are some strictly java-based games there.

you will only few that do not need active x or shockplayer, go to google and type free online java games o go to www.dragongamez.com where there r flash and shockwave games there.

well theres lots of online game sites that i know...hmm some are, neodelight.com, freeonlinegames.com, freearcade, and more...
