My wife and I are going to be visiting Orlando, Florida over Spring Break with four teenage girls (ages 16 to 18) and was wondering which theme park would you recommend and why? Also, let me know if there any specific shows/rides that you recommend.

Disney World is great for all ages! They have great thrill rides at all 4 of their theme parks (Expedition Everest, Soarin', Space Mountain, etc...) which are great for those ages.
Universal's Islands of Adventure is also a great choice! The Hulk Coaster and Dueling Dragons Coaster are two of my favorite rides there. This park really appeals to teenagers because they have mostly thrill rides. They also have a fun comic book/ super hero area and Dr. Suess Land, which I love.

For shows, be sure to see Festival of the Lion King at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Mickey's Philharmagic at the Magic Kingdom, Finding Nemo Stage Show at Animal Kingdom, Indiana Jones Stunt Show at Disney Studios, and Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at Disney's Polynesian Resort (reservations must be made in advance by calling 407-WDW-DINE).
Medieval Times and Dolly's Dixie Stampede are also great dinner shows.

DisneyWorld, definately. For teenage girls, I recommend going to MGM Studios and Epcot-those are the most interesting ones for kids of that age. I think you will especially enjoy Epcot-it has something for everyone. MGM is more of a teen thing, with rides like the Tower of Terror and Rock 'n Rollercoaster, but it's a great park as well. If you have time, I would go to Magic Kingdom as well. When you think of Disney, the first thing that probably comes to mind is all the fairy tales and characters, and Magic Kingdom is where that all comes to life. Magic Kingdom is a lot like the complete DisneyLand in California, too.

Have fun! I'm actually going in a week, too!

Universal, definately. It's for more of an older crowd, whereas Disney is kind of geared towards the younger people. Sea World is always fun too, if your kids enjoy animals.

Just as a side note from someone who lives in Florida, besides the touristy things, Orlando is really kind of...crappy. And if it's Spring Break, it's gonna be PACKED so get there early. I'm guessing you'll be down in either March or April, chances are it may be hot, so always have water or something to drink.

Have fun though, wherever you decide to go! :)

I would take them to Disney. The customer service is second to none. There is so much to do, for kids from toddler to adult that you can't go wrong. Any and all of the parks are highly recommended, but if you have to choose, I would rank them as

1. Magic Kingdom
2. MGM
3.Epcot
4. Animal Kingdom

Second choice would be Universal Studios. There are only the two parks, but there are a bunch of big rides and roller coaters the girls will like.

Have a great trip!!

Definitely go to Walt Disney World. They have four awesome theme parks. I would recommend the Magic Kingdom for the best theme park. For teenage girls I would recommend riding Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. If you ride Splash Mountain definitely wear something you can get wet. At night watch the Spectromagic Parade and Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. Check it all out at http://www.waltdisneyworld.com !

The best place would have to be Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. They have so much there for the older kids to see and do. The Hulk Roller Coaster is a must do for the thrill seekers and for the young at heart Suess Landings is a good place. There is also Universal Studios that is good too, but if you want thrill rides go to Islands of Adventure.

First, good luck. You are going to be fighting some really big crowds. That being said. What does your family like to do? Do you like rides and such, then go to the Magic Kingdom or Universal Studios. If you like the cultural stuff and some rides, go to Epcot. If you are all movie fans, go to MGM. If you really like zoos and animals, go to the Animal Kingdom.

Don't miss the Haunted House in Magic Kingdom, awesome and spooky fun. Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom is a fun ride. Pirates of the Carribean is a fun ride at Magic Kingdom. The dinosaur ride in the Animal Kingdom is fun and a wild ride. They also have a Rainforest Cafe there, good food and it feels like you are eating your lunch or dinner in a rainforest with all the animals looking over your shoulder.

yes disneyworld would be fun but I would not take two children of their age to that park. I would reccomend Universals Adventure park. It is right next to the regular Universal Studios park. It is thrilling and they have many amazing rollar coasters there! Dont miss out on the Spider Man ride. Very Fun and a easier ride on your stomach!!!!
