okay i want to get this girl i like something but i dont know if it is just a gift you would get a friend. i was going to get her cd and shirt of her favorite band but i dont know.

Rule of thumb: give a girl who is only a friend something that not personal, like CD, gift card, movie tickets etc., you don't give a girl anything that goes on the body like t-shirt jewelry, perfume, earrings, necklace etc., because that for the person that's real special to you, right now it may only be the beginning of friendship.

so thoughtful, i would love this, but could seem a little pushy (because of the cost) if you guys aren't fairly close friends or if she has not shown any interest in persuing a relationship with you.
maybe just the cd, and do it the day before? just say they were having a valentine's day sale at the music store this weekend and you knew how much she loved them so you just grabbed it for her - ya know, like it's no big deal. totally sweet and appropriate from a friend, sure to get her thinking you might be b/f material if she hasn't already.

normally, i would make a chain of gifts. for example: every class period i would give here a different gift. but if you don't go too school or have class periods, than give her a gift at a certain time during the day. that way you can give her more than one gift and don't have to worry much if she doesn't like one, because she would have others that she like more.
id suggest something like chocolate and flowers, but you could also do something like concert tickets, since you know her favorite band.

Hun, whatever you give her she knows that it came from the heart but if you want to get her something extra with that you can give flowers and candy .. and a card something old fashion BABES
