A Cracker is the terminology for the old time settlers who migrated to the South way back when. The "N" word is used by other races as an insult period. And it's used by African Americans freely because it's NOT said as an insult and has no racist intent. I've heard caucasian teens use the word freely amongst their African American friends and it's not said in a racist hateful way and no one is offended. The younger--untouched--generation have more acceptance and tolerance of other races than grown ups! It's a persons choice to hate as useless as that emotion is, but that doesn't give anyone the right to project that hatred with verbal or physical violence!

Call me Cracker all you want it is a compliment. It is what the slaves called the boss man that cracked the whip on slaves that were getting lazy. Hence the word CRACKER. I like it.

It is the result of a controlled media. When a provoked man says knigger, all hell breaks loose. However rappers are allowed to say "kill whitey" every other sentence and nothing is done about it. An awful double standard.

It is only acceptable to those who accept it. I personally do not mind being called it, but as soon as they call me "cracker" i reply with a hearty greeting of "Spear Chucker".

Neither are acceptable. I don't hear black people using these words
To whom this may concern, You know who you are
The National Association for the Advancement of Working(White) People has existed since 1980.
You can get multiple scholarships to multiple colleges just for being black, but none for just being white.
------------------------------------------
There is about $32 million dollars in scholarship money that goes unclaimed per year.
-------------------------
Black people get extra points on Police aptitiude tests and other government jobs assessments just for being black, which inreases thier likelyhood of getting govenment jobs, that are nearly impossible to get fired from.
And the source for this is what?
If the majority of white people thought these programs where needed, they would exist.

"Cracker" is not offensive because it has absolutely no meaning. (please understand I'm not saying its ok to call somebody that) The "N word" has meaning to hurt/insult and history behind it. I don't think when lynch mobs where hanging people they were chanting "friend". I don't think it acceptable for anyone, black or white, to insult people with these senseless words.

Do you honestly care if someone calls you a cracker? Does it make you feel inferior or less then a black person if they call you a cracker? I don't think so. Cracker is a meanless name.

I don't find it acceptable. I've hit not only blacks, but whites for saying it in a derogatory way. If you don't stand up against it, it will never end.

It's perfectly acceptable when you travel in the right circles. The people who say it isn't, have an agenda.
