CD/RW Problem?

If my CD/RW has a disk in it, but it doesn't boot up instantly or read the disk's content, do I need a new CD/RW? (I've been wanting to replace it for a while, anyway...)

Buya DVD drive, with multiformat support, it will burn CD's too.
