I believe KOBE deserves that many ft's not wade...wade is not michael jordan and the league is obviously trying to create a superstar by letting him go to the line a ridiculous amount of 24 a game.

anyone else find this stat absurd???????

first of all..dwayne wade does not average 24 Ft's a game..if that was the case, he would be averaging 50 points a game.. He averages 11.4 Ft's a game, which is still a high amount. Second of all, dwayne wade goes to the basket more frequently than anyone else i can think of in the NBA right now.

Stop hating on Wade people...this guy was just born with the ability to drive in and either score or go to the line. Kobe doesnt do that as good as Wade; he pulls up for a jumpshot or a fadeaway...so he cant get fouled

Free throw attempts are determined by how many times someone is fouled, not by how much star treatment they "deserve."

Maybe Kobe should try driving the ball to the hoop more often. He likes to pull up, and he's excellent at it, but that won't get him to the foul line.

Are you kidding me?,ur talking about the best player right now,he gets that frequent to the line because he's so hard to guard and people just foul him.The league does not create stars they create by themselves. If Kobe deserves those FT he needs to earn them by driving to the basket hard.

I do agree that Wade carries and does some other funny stuff, but if refs allow it (and they've allowed it for every player), then yes Wade is getting hacked when he gets inside the key. He deserves the free throws cuz he sacrafices his body.

I do find that stat absurd. Wade is a great player, but is not fouled 12+ times a night! However, Kobe has gotten less and less physical as he plays more and more, and doesn't draw emough fouls to go to the line 24 times.

Like I reported on your previous question you have to be a Mavs fan. What Rose is doing is what makes him tremendous in case you cant end him or contest the shot you should placed him to the line no uncomplicated layups that is what the playoffs is about. i'm not crying about that, that's that straight forward. If his images at the instantaneous are not taking position he's gonna attack the basket that straight forward.

As a Mavs fan who watched Wade have his own free throw shooting contest in the Finals, I find it completely absurd. I hate his little jumps shot into the guy for a cheap foul.

I totally agree with you .... all his free throws come from carrying the ball and driving and a lot of times no one touched him and he still gets the foul.
