I don't really have any name suggestions for you, but I do have some tips on finding the right one!?

Usually, when children grow older, they tend to want a different name than they have, especially boys, so it's always nice to have a name for your child that can have a nickname too. Like Nicholas - Nick, or Joseph - Joey.

Another thing to remember is the child's middle name. My parents had given me two completely different names: Hunter and Elizabeth. The idea with this is that the child's first name can be simple and short and if the child ends up disliking it or would like a nickname, they could always resort to their middle name, which is completely different. Like all the nicknames that can come from Elizabeth would be Lizzy, Liz, Betha, Beth, Lizziebeth - really anything!

You could also look into some baby books - they have books out there only listing baby names. Those are always something to consider if you're having trouble with a name.

I hope this helped!
I hope your baby will have a wonderful name, and good luck!

Aldan - is Anglo Saxon in origin and means "old friend or wise protector"
Aaron - comes from the Hebrew - means "enlightened"
Bryant - comes from the Celtic and means "strong"
Pallas - comes from Greek and means "understanding"
Thanos - is Greek and means "noble"

All a bit unusual and unique - and I can't honestly think of how anyone could make fun - and you could always call something else for shortened version - like Pallas - Paul, Bryant - Brian, Thanos - Tom, etc. Good luck finding the right baby name!

Caleb is a strong boy's name. With this name it would sound appropriate for him to drive a truck or become a lawyer when he grew into an adult. I do think many times, the names we decide for our children can help them or hinder them along in life. You are right to take this decision seriously. Also consider the initials he will have, including the middle one. You wouldn't want it to be an embarassment for him.

You could try a name from a different culture or country than yours. for example, Raidon is the name of a Japanese God of thunder. if you are okay with religious names, then they generally connotate strength.

As for other kids/people not liking it- don't worry about too much. You can't (and don't need to) please everyone. A name that means something to you will more important to your son when he grows into an adult.
