Some questions require research, others don't. Some questions are easier to answer. Some require detail, while others just require yes or no. The most I remember ever getting is like 12. I'm unpopular.

I think that timing is everything! It depends on 'who is on'. I have gotten no answers to some things I though would get a lot of answers and also, 30 to a question I thought would get 1 or 2.

When ppl write too much, some folks will just skip the ? and go to another. Like all the detail in your question.
Good questions are well-thought out and usually can be answered with Yes or No. And, they are "in tune" with whatever the "flow" of the conversation is about.

In the same night one of my questions had 70 answers while another one only had 6. You never know what's going to click with people on here. I just ask whatever question I want and don't worry about the responses. Have fun and enjoy yourself :)

Too much text after the questions makes me shy away sometimes. Especially on days I just wanna answer, answer, answer and not read an essay.
Plus it all depends on the questions to which people relate.

this is fun: i open the first question on the top of each for a while and then leave there is really the avatars draw or the questions maniplations or the quick objective that can be done and move on: if you know your were coming we would have bake a cake, language as a lethal weapon has been cattle prod in a text

I would guess its a timing scenario and points of view that excites the people to respond to questions asked....Like ah would you respond quickly to" What if you had to change a flat tire?" as opposed to "Tell me what you are thinking about right now and you 'll get 10 points" The responses to both questions would have a "miles apart" answer scenario...Don't you think so???

yes or no questions usually get the most answers...and timing is everything....plus of course there's also the case of the yahoo glitch when questions don't get posted right away and when it finally does, there are more new questions on the page.

I understand what you mean, yeah. I always try to answer for people with few answers, lol. Cuz I know it sucks when you barely get any answers!
Yeah, the banner thing, lol. That might work...
