People who touch others and hold their hands or hug them or kiss them on the cheeks, etc. are normally very loving, caring, kind, soft hearted people and they are reaching out to others showing that they care.
Some people care about everyone unless they've been hurt by the person they are now talking to. These people are very trusting people.
These people are normally people who will do anything to help or assist others and will listen to others' problems.
If you find someone like this, you should feel lucky and try to include them into your circle of friends. They will be loyal and faithful to you.

i live in Korea where it's a culturally accepted norm for everyone to do that.
It's not confined to "touchy-feely" types.
When I lived in Australia (my home) it was considered a nice gesture if someone hugged you. Made you feel good inside! so I'm not sure what you've got against it or why....
if something feels good and it's passing on good feelings, why not? maybe if we were a little less reticent about sharing this kind of touch, there'd be less problems like hate and more good stuff like love lowing around the world.

These people are happy and caring,if they touch you that means,they have a connection with you unconsciously.When I was a young girl I was in show biz in my country,I touch people to make them happy.and important. Now I am older and out of show biz,I shake hands to get acquainted,and hugs friends on special occasions and when I am on a dates I touched the sleeve of the person to get my point. I guess I am a sensous person, but it does not mean that I am sexual to every Dick and John,one guy at work make a mistake about me ,boy! did he get a big show down from me.

Its more about their own acceptance than anything else. Its hard to ignore someone who is touching you all the time. Its a way of saying notice me, look at me, love me.
I normally make a comment about i know that they are there and can appreciate them just as they are. It tends to limit the hugging.

Good point, I agree that people who do that aren't aware of their surroundings and should be, so If they are so loving and caring why do they not care enough to realize that it may be offending.

I like being touched by certain people. Especially cute chicks. And I don't feel bad about it.
