i work in a pizza station 95% of the time so most of the stains i have are from marinara sauce, pesto's, and any other thing you can think of.

Get several chef's coats. Do the laundry once a week. Use very hot water, a good detergent and a little bit of bleach. Once every three months use bluing which will whiten the coats again. Be prepared to replace them at least once a year. Be sure you wear an apron while in work.

Here ya go, and this really works. I worked at a laundry and this is what we used. In a spray bottle or any container with a lid, mix
1 part Dawn dish detergent with 2 parts ammonia. This will break down the grease and proteins when you apply it to the stain. Let it sit for 15 minutes. Then wash. If the whole thing is just terribly nasty put a good squirt of Dawn in the washer and 1/4 cup of ammonia, and wash as usual..Do Not add regular laundry detergent in this load of wash, and definetly do not EVER mix bleach and ammonia. If you want to you can run the rinse cycle twice, I never do. Another tip, don't use softner of any type. It leaves a film on the fibers of the fabric that SEAL in dirt and stains. The ammonia will help to break down the build up of softners also so it can really get in there and clean.

Use 1 part alcohol to 2 parts water for any stains , let this solution set for awhile. Then put in into the wash with some white clothes. Use Tide and when it is done Put it in the dryer for awhile, maybe 15 minutes, and then hang it up to dry. This way you won't have to iron it. But if you want the best cleaners Try a Chinese Laundry. They do a great job

Chef's coats are usually purposely made of durable fabric that can hold up to a lot of washing on a hot setting with bleach. Clorox makes a color-safe bleach alternative that is good. If you are in the kitchen for a full shift, that thing needs to be intensely washed after each wearing.

the best detergent for PROTEIN stains, which is what all meat is, is ERA Liquid.

it gets dang near anything out!

you can also spot treat bad stains with this.

it is terrific on blood stains. just spot treat, let sit about 1/2 hour, then wash in the hottest water possible.

it works GREAT!

go to oxicleandetergent.com, they have this oxyclean ball that you just put in the washer and it cleans everything, no bleach needed. Or simply go to the store and buy some oxyclean, it's the shiznit. The ball is wonderful, one lasts for up to twenty five loads for me, and it's very economical.
