My favourite place has a magnificent opening well cared for but also well used. If i open the entrance, i can admire the walls from the outside. The keystone is ornate and it protrudes with insolent pride.

It's best at night when the stars are your only companions so you feel like the only person alive. Your path is lit by the gentle glow of the moon and as soon as you round the corner the view of the ocean instantly takes your breath away.
What you're seeing is a fusion of fierce waves colliding with the protruding rocks below you and the endless horizon stretching out in front. A metaphor i think anyone can understand.
The only other sound you can hear is your own breath. That is, of course, when you remember to breathe.

When you enter that last curve thats when you see it. Beautiful mountains covered in the mist of a new day. Just to smell the morning air gives me the feeling of a new relationship. And makes me glad to be with an old friend.

a dark eerie field,lit up by only the moon. with a stranger on horseback coming over the plain. the grass so long it can hide my sins and the howling of wolves to disguise my pleasure.

The back streets of Luxor, Egypt. Off the beaten track and full of friendliness considering what little they have; children running up to you, the locals smiling and greeting you.....I've never seen anywhere like it.
