I would suggest that you pick the carrier first and then the best phone that they have to offer. If you choose the phone first, the carrier may not work in your area.

a couple of the best phones out now are the Samsung D900 and the Nokia N73. Both have mega cameras - over 3 megapixels with excellent video, both have excellent resolutions and screen sizes, and both have bluetooth, wap browsers, email, mp3 players etc.
The Nokia N73 is slightly technically better, it has full internet browsing and fm radio for example, but it depends on how much you want these as both of these phones are feature-packed.
They really are two of the best and most advanced phones available. The Nokia N73 is arguably less attractive than the Samsung D900, it's kind of square and not tiny (but it's certainly not a brick!) The Samsung D900 is the slimmest slide phone ever, and is definitely pretty.
There you go! (after a lot of research and handling of the two (and others) I'm going for the Samsung, but I've definitely included attractiveness as a selection criteria).

I have an nokia n73 on 3. it has bluetooth, a great mp3 player and its a 3g smartphone.the camera is a 3.2mp with karl zeiss lens. The killer application is the xseries with for an extra £5 per month you get unlimited internet access and free msn and skype too. Also if you download opera mini you can view most internet websites on your phone. I'm answering this question using this phone.

I have a Samsung D900 and I love it to bits. And I am REAL picky with phones. I'm one of those that has to have something just right and have all/most of the commonly used features. It is kind of expensive though so you might wanna consider getting a contract. I would choose virgin mobile and buy it and phones4u cos they do adeal where your mintues and texts each month are added on instead of reset. Samsung D900!

Sure :)
I have E350 Samsung and is really great but I would like to upgrade it for Samsung D900.

Will make it short...

Reliable (I split on it a litter of juice and it still works correctly,I even don't remember how many times I dropped it on the street)
Very good looking!
Blue-tooth, mp3, Games, good cam and video even when you print it or view it on a computer.
Easy to use, lots of memory....(I think you can buy a card)

Lovely stuff.... small, slim and OMG ....so sexy ;)

i have a mobile phone with a 3.2 mega pixel camera and video camera that i am very happy with. it's the Samsung SCH_A990. it has wonderful features including crystal-clear sound, and pictures, memory chip, and MP3 capabilities.

http://reviews.cnet.com/Samsung_SCH_A990/4505-6454_7-31968249.html

i would definitely steer completely clear of the Motorola razors. they break more frequently than any other phone.

The other outstanding features on few phones are GPS and getting email. Otherwise they're not too different among the various carriers.
