A great idea, but for a few small but significant details.
Electric cars already do this - when you get off the "go" pedal, the motor acts as a generator and replenishes the batteries a little. This is called regenerative braking, since it re-generates some of the power that was used getting the car up to speed in the first place - and it also slows the car much faster than if it was simply coasting.
Generating electricity takes power - the motor/generator will become physically harder to turn, thus slowing the car quite rapidly (your own car does this - this is why race cars sometimes turn their headlights and their windshield defrost off - if racing in the rain - while trying to pass someone. The less electricity the alternator needs to make, the less horsepower required to turn it.)
Unfortunately, sometimes you have to hit the brakes, and then all that power you've put into making the car go is converted into heat via the discs. Also, air resistance, rolling resistance of the tyres, the resistance of the wheel bearings, etc. - these all add up to ensure that you always need to use some power just to keep the car moving at all.
And finally, anytime you convert movement into power, or power into movement, you have internal losses, due to friction within the motor, the heat the motor generates (yes, you lose power making that heat.) This is why you still have to charge your batteries.
This is also why a perpetual moton machine can never be invented. There will always be losses due to friction somewhere. Even if you were shot out into space, the friction of random, isolated hydrogen molecules would eventually stop you - although it would take a very long time!

Don't fall into that "used to be a good kid" -- that will just cause you and her more pain. She's still a good kid!! (no behavior should be linked to a child worthy of love -- love should be unconditional) Like the other poster said -- it's a phase with a LOT of hormone imbalances!! It's like the "terrible twos" on steroids lol but still a phase. The best thing is, it's also a time parents and kids can grow quite close to one another. It's also a time she'll start to really become an independent person and establish her personality. Teens are, by nature, very self-centered (they have to be, their bodies are going haywire and their whole world revolves around the question "Who am I?"). At the same time, they can also be extremely sympathetic (that's why they go out and save the world/ save the earth/ save the purple-spotted tuna or whatever) -- it's just a matter of them learning and getting positive feedback for being compassionate. Just keep listening and keep talking!! Just because she's not saying anything or rolling her eyes doesn't mean she's not hearing you -- teens soak up the world, she's watching you and your reactions like a hawk!! (Again, like a two-year old she's trying to figure out how the world works -- even if she's feeling pretty clinical about the whole thing) Talk to her!! Tell her "Hey, I was single and wasn't quite sure I wanted an instant family. And yeah, doing house hold chores is no picnic. BUT, IT'S WORTH IT" Just keep driving home that the sacrifices and trouble of being social/ of living in a family is worth it. And when you find yourself in the middle of a tantrum, unless she's in danger -- just bite your tongue and bide your time until she's calm. Then say what's on your mind and let it drop. Remember, 70% of communication parents have with their children these days is nothing but discipline -- that's a horrible statistic. Much better to simply let stuff slide and have fun together as a family.

There is no such thing as free energy. The attractive force of the magnets will slow down the wire. Plus, you need massive amounts of wire to generate enough electricity for a car to move so all the extra wire is also attracted to the magnets. And no, the companies are not just out to get us, although you are right in saying they are screwing us.

The positive-negative, actually north-south electricity generation is wrong it's spinning a wire through a magnetic field. You don't mention anything about drive motors or how you get the car going
initially, so I'd say your idea needs some "refinement".

There is such a thing as induction, and this way of utilizing electricity is as close as you can get to 'free' electricity. In an incident out westquite some time ago, a person 'hung' wires close underneath power lines, and walla, he had some useable current, although, when the power company caught him, he was charged with theft of power, and fined BIG time! As far as wires, and magnets goes, the logistics of enough wire required to produce sufficient current make this idea very un-economical. hope this answers your question.

Electricity is not made by "two opposite magnets" but merely by a wire crossing a magnetic field.
If it worked like you said, then yes, you might be able to make a perpetual motion machine.

You are way off base. Current is produced by passing windings of a circuit through a magnetic field or vice versa. Look in to magnetic induction before you start to become a critic.

shhhhuuuussssshhhhhh, they might hear you, logical people
like yourself may find themselves swimming with the sharks.
the idea such as this floated around a decade ago and was
quickly hushed up, then the idea that a car could be operated
by using just air(think dentist drill), shusched up in a hurry.
it ain't commies but big oil and their outrageous profits that they
stole from the people not only from the U.S. but from every country on the planet. i wish i was an international lawyer,
i would bring a class action law suit upon them for price fixing,
caring on a monopoly, hindering progressive fuel resources and alternatives, etc. oh, wait, what am i doing? i'm going to have to delete this answer before the get me. hey who are you!!!
don't make me do it ... i'll press send... i swear...

well, theres a litttle more to it than that.. but, even there wasnt,, the problem would be in entropy. meaning that the auto would use more power than it could produce.. thats why perpetual motion doesnt work nor cold fusion.. they are all great ideas and some of them even work on paper.. on paper... i believe in perpetual motion. most say its impossible due to thermodynamics... well,,, so was flying, till someone did it...

what you are talking about is Perpetual motion. Humans have been looking for this a long , long time to no avail .The problem is, you have to put something in if you want something to come out
