Can he really be on the grammys?
I thought the Grammys were reserved for people with talent?
Is his voice considered 'music'?

No, sadly, the Grammys are no longer about talent. They are about MARKETING. Who puts the best marketing package together to generate sales. It doesn't even have to be about selling music. Mr. Timberlake's endorsement deals, appearance deals, controversies with who he may or may not be sleeping with, as well as additions to the American vocabulary such as "I'm bringin' sexy back," are what determines who is successful in the "music" business.

One could argue that even the Grammy's themselves have become another marketing event, with the winners being chosen in order to further perpetuate sales. Their own web site states that "The process begins with members and record companies submitting entries, which are then screened for eligibility and category placement. The Academy's voting members, all involved in the creative and technical processes of recording, then participate in (1) the nominating process that determines the five finalists in each category; and (2) the final voting process which determines the GRAMMY winners."

He has plenty of fans. He has a beautiful voice. And yes he is qualified to be on the Grammys. He has been in the biz' for 12 years now.

He has a right to be on the Grammys and I think his current music is way better than his N'Sync days. That group sucked!
