well im not too sure about where you live ... but where i live there are 14 year olds working at McDonalds and Grocery stores stocking shelves. And even if you can't apply for these jobs ... then you could do a dog walking service or babysit or even do a newspaper route.
Hope it helped

How about talking to maybe friends of your parents. If you have an idea of what you want to be like let's say a vet, hair dresser or something like that then talk to someone you know who does that. My daughter is 10 1/2 and we homeschool our kids. She has asked if she can go work with our vet on day & I have told her maybe when she is 15 or so. Our vet has already said this is fine. This way you will get a hand on look at the job.

I don't know about how it would work if you are wanting to work for money. Maybe you could talk to the person about that too and come up with an agreement.

Cool! I'm turning 15 on March 3rd.

Yes it is legal for a 15 year old to work. But the economy is so stupid. When you get a job at 15, you'll be considered "unemployed" because they will only count people of 16+ (I think) as "employed."

People are unemployed if they are laid off, not working, under 16 (working or not), searching for a job, or able to work but no job.
People are employed if they are working, over 16 and working, or laid off for less than 30 days.
It's how the economists count the "unemployment rate."
