New Bonsai tree?

Okay i got a new bonsai yesterday from home depot.It came with like moss,is it to help it grow or do i take it out?

Leave the moss. Chances are the bonsai is an outdoor tree, because 100's of species of trees are made into bonsai, and a particular species of tree is either indoor or outdoor. If you wish, you can send a photo or description of the foliage to me at:
