When I heard about the laws... I was shocked. in Texas it's 500 dollars, and somewhere else it's 20 years! a year ago i've been to Alabama... and I just cant believe I've been to such an outrages state! I dont know if i wanna go back (i'm israely). it's horrible! a whole year in prison?

About calling it "Sodomy". that word is also outrages. sodom is a place where they say people were bad, but it doesn't say they were homosexuals.

About me asking about israel. i just wanted to know if it's known it the world...

Sodomy laws, while they may still be on the books in some states, were declared unconstitutional I believe in 2003. They can NOT be prosecuted.

Sodomy laws are no longer operative in any state. Although they still are on the books, it would be foolish to bring a prosecution under them, because the Supreme Court ruled the Texas laws were void. Remember sodomy covers a number of things, including women giving oral sex to men as well as man on man oral sex; and you'd better believe there are very few men and women who have never broken that law!

The government does not belong in our bedrooms.

I think most states have repealed them. Most sodomy laws also include oral and anal sex between a man and a woman. I don't believe the government should have any right telling two consenting adults what they can do sexually. I'm an adult. If I want to get banged up the butt or if two guys want to blow each other that's none of their business.

The Supreme Court, the highest court in the U.S., made those sodomy laws void a few years ago. They are no longer in effect in any state.
