I estimate my little finger weighs roughly 12 grams. Applying e=mc^2, I come up with around 10^15 joules of energy if the matter in the finger is completely converted. One megaton of explosive energy is defined as 4.184 × 10^15 joules, so no, your little finger wouldn't amount to a good-sized nuclear bomb.

By postively charging any atom you can make it attract to another and another causing a chain reaction creating more and more charged particles once the object (your finger in this case) reaches its max level of postively charged particles (stored in the nucleus or valence shell)it will have to escape by releasing the charged particles through a chain reaction a large explosion would soon follow not enough to blow up a planet such has earth but enough to maybe blow up a two story building .Please remember that you would first have to positively charge a atom in your pinky with a massive amount of energy which for such a object has your pinky is very unlikely.

any nuclear explosion starts with the spitting of a single atom. its just having enough core material to fuel an explosion big enough to devour the planet.
so in a very crude theory...yes, given your finger is big enough

no.........the atoms making up your finger are for the most part stable so they're not going to start a chain reaction like in a nuclear weapon

If you did a complete mass to energy conversion of your pinky there would be tremendous amounts of energy released in accordance to E=mc^2. I dunno about enough energy to destroy the earth.... but it would be a lot.
