put on the flowmaster mufflers, 40 series if they come in that small of size and you will need 2 exhaust tips to exit the rear. Also you will probably have to get a couple of muffler clamps for each side and 2 hangers. Call summit racing and see if they have the mufflers for your car 1-800-230-3030.

A Flowmaster original 40 will be very loud.... but on a V-6 might be okay, there is also a 40 Delta Force, which I have on my Durango and it is loud, but I have a high flow cat and a 360..... anyway go with the Flowmaster... you will like the sound.

Go here..... and listen to the sound clips

put a high flow catalytic converter on the car it will sound louder and have better fuel economy and better acceleration I did this to my 92 Lumina coupe with 3.1L V6 and it was defiantly faster and my fuel economy is better. I also put on a generic after market muffler which sounds better but is not loud and also made it a little quicker. total cost for me was 260.

well if you have a mig welder handy, you could make your own exhaust. i just built a sweet system for my g.f. civic and its a 4 banger motor and it sounds sic, sounds like it came right out of fast n the furious. if it was mine i would trade up to a v-8. ive never been able to make a 6 banger sound good. you can make it loud by just choppin out the muffler, then puttin a carbon fiber tip on the end of the pipe

two suggestions, one... Live in a state with a lot of snow, so in about three years the salt will have rusted through the mufflers so they have holes in them. two, get the muffler and shoot it with a twenty-two gage shotgun. All the little holes will definately amp up the loudness.

the 80 series will be a better fit then the 40 series. also you could save a little more money and go SLP's cat-back exhaust, or Borlas. i have the Borla and its awesome. i love it. gives me the great sound i was looking for.

Similar laws in most states will get you a ticket for a modified exhaust if you catch the attention of the police.
