Two nights ago, myself and two girlfriends were driving home from a club. Suddenly this male pulled up beside us at a redlight, with nothing on his upper body except a black bra. He smiled and drove beside us for a few blocks and then turned. My Question is: at the time we found this amusing (he was cute...lol) and harmless. But as we drove further we second guessed ourselves. Should we have yelled at him or tried to get his license number for the cops? And further more, was he really breaking any laws? I mean it sounds stupid at first, but I don't know if there is a law that prevents men from wearing a bra. If we are wrong on the legal issue than maybe others will benefit from your responses.

No, there isn't a law against wearing a bra. I also don't think there is a law (for men at least) regarding whether or not you wear a shirt or not while driving. That doesn't really sound like you were "flashed" either but more or less just encountered someone in that state while driving. It wasn't like he popped out and was harrasing you by saying, "surprise!" There is a good chance he ended up like that due to a bet or some goofy situation with his pals. So I wouldn't read to much into it.

That is pretty funny, and I imagine that was the guy's intention. He was probably bored, and looking to see your reaction. He could have been a cross dresser too, but they are usually harmless. There are no laws against a man wearing women's clothing. Since he didn't follow you home or do anything creepy, I don't see what you are worried about. The cops would have done nothing about it if you called, except laugh and share the story with their pals.

First off, there's no law that says a man can't wear a bra, so calling the cops would have probably just annoyed the cops for wasting their time.
Second, if he was cute, why not just chalk it up as a 'cute experience'?
Does everything have to be judged?

Isn't that called a "bro"? Or is it a "Mansierre".

Sounds like someone was just being goofy and you got a funny story out of it. Apparently he knew there were limits to the fun and turned away before it got creepy.

So what you're really saying is that you were jealous of him, because deep down inside, you really would like to wear a bra yourself . Am I right? Come on. Tell us the truth!

A man with a bra, in his own car...
I think there are bigger issues out there, than some, as you call him, "harmless" man driving around with a black bra on.

Sheesh.

For a man to expose himself he has to show you his lower private parts, his chest isn't considered offensive... weird, yes, illegal, no. :)

See I would have thought it was funny, too, and I worked in law enforcement for a long time. If he had pulled up next to my patrol car, as long as he had on pants, he's in the clear!

there is no law against it. and there are guys out there who do cross-dress. i think it's a phase. guys like to see if they have a feminine side. I know. i live with one. and it doesn't bother me in the least. i mean he dosen't go out in public, just for me in the privacy of our room.
