I think any type of education you receive beyond high school is a personal achievement and something to be proud of. Getting any type of degree, whether an associates or masters, takes a lot of hard work and effort.
Way to go!

You should definitely be proud of anything you accomplish, and an associates degree probably took you at least two years of work. But you'll probably make more money in the future if you go on to get a bachelor's degree, and if that's possible for you right now then I recommend it. You've already done half the work, so it would probably only take you two more years.

Of course you should be proud, and why do people without a college degree look down on it? You should be proud of your accomplishment, if you want more go for it, but don't do it because of what other people think of it, Do it for your self. It is the first step towards more. You can get a better job with the AA, and work your self up or work and go towards more degrees. Good Luck!

I (puff up) am proud to have my AA and so are most of my family
you know what it took to get your degree! YES be as proud as you can be..they are jealous for they do not understand what it takes to get thus far..unless you have been there done that. I have been told that it is like taking all of the courses for LVN and not going for the RN or like a person who is a Physician assistant and not all the way to a doctor.
Let them go and try to get a job and not be qualified for it and you get the job by your education...keep going once you have started you may find it a little at a time you will eventually get your Masters if you so desire.

Some people are proud to know how to read, or to even own their own cow or their own grass hut with a roof. Pride is completely relative. I think you should be happy with what you have rather than wondering when it's okay to be proud. Then it won't matter to you. If you aren't happy it's all meaningless.
