If I had a teenager I would rather they had protected sex (assuming the protection was put on right and there was no chance for pregnancy). Pot can seriously screw people up, but sex doesnt really mess you up unless you get pregnant which wouldnt happen if it was protected sex.

Protected sex... If it's protected, it doesn't have any body damaging effects, it isn't addicitve (chemically anyway :D ), it doesn't ease the person's refexes (which could cause an accident), not to mention sex is good for your health!

If I had to pick one, I'd say pot, since a once-a-week toke would have little-to-no negligible effects, whereas even protected sex once a week is likely to eventually end in an unwanted pregnancy, statistically.

However, why should s/he have to choose? And why only once a week (as long as s/he gets his/her homework done)? ;)

if i had to choose it would be neither but if i had to choose between those two then i would chose protected sex because at least she can't get high off of it and like she couldn't die from it...

Honestly, to have an open relationship with me, in which he felt no judgment, nor fear, only my best advice...which would be to ask me personally. This is the most honest answer that I can give you, as a parent.
Best Regards!
