I think you are smart and right for waiting until the divorce is final. Once it is final and over with then when you are ready start dating slowly again. But not until you feel you are ready to. Dont let people rush or push you into it. Take your time and do things your way and at your own speed.

i think of you're doing the miraculous factor...too many situations I see somebody getting a divorce and the subsequent day they are in yet another relaitonship because of the fact they could no longer be on my own. With that concept, they are playing on that individual being the miraculous one or hoping so. you have given your self time however to heal, and now after your divorce, you will finished and able to start relationship returned and giving somebody a huge gamble...

No, you're saving yourself a lot of BS by waiting until the divorce is final.

No, I dont think you are crazy. You are honoring your commitment and promise to your wife (and until the divorce if finalized she IS still your wife). I think you are doing the right thing.

No, your not crazy. I am in the same boat, and I feel that I need the closure before I can move on. Besides I would not want to give him anything he could even attempt to use against me either.

it is normal to wait (but unusual in this day and age). play in your court by your rules when you are ready. don't let others dictate what you should do. good luck.

Screw what your friends thinks, you have the right to make your own decisions and as true friends should do, they should respect your decision and keep their thoughts and opinions to themselves.

I would be gun shy too. Dont EVER make the mistake of marrying again. You are a FOOL if you do.
