i really like this guy but for some reason i think he might be gay? he dresses very well with the instyles and he likes to go shopping. when he talks he sounds like a girl and his friends are mainly girls along with his bestfriend.
i have a friend just like this guy but he isn't gay..
so i don't know :/

Just ask. Its not the be-all and end-all of the world.
Just say, "I really like you and I would like to know if your gay or straight. Either is fine and I don't want to make you uncomfortable."
You can add too or take away from that, but just make it nonchalant.

Being gay means being attracted to the same gender.
It doesn't mean you have mostly friends of the opposite sex, that you enjoy behaviors that have been socially ascribed to the opposite gender role. Be careful not to prejudge. I'm gay but I HATE shopping. I have no sense of fashion, Most of my friends are football loving straight boys, I work on cars, and I hate Barbara Streisand.
He could just be what many call a "metrosexual".
Why don't you ask him.

Maybe, he's a metrosexual. You never know until he actually tells you. I think you have to figure a way to find out. Although, if he is gay, he might not be comfortable to tell you right away because of fear of prejudice and discrimination.

it is a definite possibility that he may be gay, but he also may be "metro", and he may not have had a male masculine figure in his life. what kinds of things does he like shopping for? some men do like to shop , but for tools and other "manly" things. maybe you should lay your feelings on the line, and if he rejects you, dont take it personally because he may just not like women.

Really does'nt mean he is gay. He could be a man that has it all together, I have a friend like this too, he braids my hair and his wife.
