Living in Ontario yourself, you'll appreciate the distance. A friend and I were alone for Thanksgiving. We drove from Toronto to North Bay for a cup of tea. Then we went to Montreal for an Ice Cap. Then we took the dogs for a walk in Niagara. All in one day.

In terms of driving, my wife and I, married 1 year, age 19, drove from West Palm Beach, to Key West, walked around for a daya, and then drove back, that night. Took 5 hours drive down, 5 hours back. We left at 3 AM, drove back at 5 PM. IN a MGB convertible, with $35.00 cash in our pocket. That was 28 years ago. Amazing we we were ok.
