I think I have over 100 DVDS not including my TV shows. I have 9 shows on DVD and i'm just wondering--will i actually have time to watch all these in the future, and if not should i reduce my collection and how?

It's not that you'll have time to watch them all at once, but there will be times when you're sick or you just need a break and you'll be like...hey I could watch THIS and pull it out and watch it...
I have 50 dvds of just one show...not counting all my movies....
If it's the space you're worried about get a CD case...one of those huge ones that holds over 200 disks...I have two of them. One for all my seasons of my TV show...and one for just my movies...that way I can throw out all my plastic dvd boxes.

We have over 300 dvd's we keep them on the book case. We lend them out to friends all the time. If we are broke we might sell a few but mainly we just keep them up on the shelf they get watched all the time. Beats going to the video shop.

If you really aren't going to be watching them ever than I would look into bringing them to a children's hospital if they are age appropriate or to a women's shelter. These are places that would make your movies and TV DVDs go a long way to cheer some folks up!

If they are illegal copies, you'd be best not to try selling them! (Either give them to friends or throw them away)
You could swap them with friends so you always get something new to watch, and if they're legal copies try ebay or a second-hand store that buys old cd's and dvd's.
