My baby liked to sleep with the blanket near her face too.
I wouldn't worry about SIDS. If your baby has been healthy since birth and normal weight, SIDS is very unlikely. Plus, she is 3 months old now..not a newborn.
Continue to move the blanket away from her face. If you are really worried about it, and she needs warmth, use a warmer outfit with no blanket.

This is VERY dangerous. SIDS is not something you want to flirt with, however indirectly--and to the woman who said if the baby's healthy SIDS isn't an issue, you're wrong. Most SIDS babies have NO indicators for illness--they're of healthy weight and appetite, with no extreme fussiness, sudden lack of appetite, what have you. That's why it's called SIDS. While most of the babies who die of SIDS are boys, that doesn't mean girls don't die of it. And as far as age goes, I had a friend whose baby died of SIDS at 5 months. I would get one of those 'sleep-sacks' and eliminate the blanket entirely. Unfortunately, you've been doing it for a while so you'll both have to deal with adjustment.
I call them 'sleep-sacks'... they're basically felt or fleece blanket sacks that zip up the front and have straps that go over the baby's shoulders. They leave the arms free, but cover from about mid-chest down.

You have to worry about SIDS no matter what your childs birth weight or how healthy they are. If baby keeps putting that blanket over her face she could easily suffocate. Get rid of the blanket and buy a few sleep sacks.

All great answers- my mom- simply knitted a loose blanky that had holes naturally in the knitting - I loved to pull it over my face and head when sleeping- I was told- and the loose knit - never bothered me- I am a meer 42 yrs old now and have quit the habit- I only do it now on purpose to play peekaboo with my new little daughter.

My little one started to do that around that age too.... try to make usre the blanket "breathes"... like a large knit fabric or light cotton material. Once she figured out how to sleep on her tummy... she'd bury her face in the blankets.

Snug the blanket a little more tighly on her. She sounds like a strong baby lol. Do your best to change that. Don't let her make that a habbit.

Tuck the blanket tightly into the bottom of the cot, so it only reaches her shoulders.

You need to bundle her more tightly, so she can't move the blanket.
