All native Americans and pioneers alike used as many resources as they could. From the colors of the sands and clays around them as dyes, to the skins of animals they fed from, as blankets and clothing. Even their jewelry adorned bones, claws,teeth & stones. They traded and bartered for many items and neccessities as well.

naw man im native american, yes we did use our surroundings to survive.but then the white people came along from europe and took our land away from us, we were here first then they tricked us into being captured and enslaved.which is why if you were to come to a native american reservation we dont celebrate columbus day because hes a bastard and he raped our women and killed our children.
