I would definitely recommend the Neutrogena Visibly Even Facial Wash, used along with Clearasil daily pore cleansing pads and some Palmer's Moisturizer to dab on those dry areas. Your skin will probably have hardly any pimples.
Other ways to get rid of zits:
dab a clay mask on the pimpled area and let it dry, follow with some Clearasil after washing it off.
Dissolve an aspirin in some water and apply to pimple. The aspirin will dry it out.
Put some warm milk on a towel and apply to pimple.
To prevent: Use a toner daily; it will clean out your pores AND moisturize. If your skin is moisturized, it won't produce so much oil to compensate for so much dryness.
Good Luck!

Well, Ive tried loads of stuff, but I have a routine that works 98% of the time.
Morning-
1.Clean and Clear Daily face wash with micro-scrubbers
2.Clean and Clear moisturizer with saylic Acid
Evening-
1.Biore Pore Minimizing cleanser
2Benzaclin (a perscription)
Then, twice a week I use A peel off Masque.
Chances are, this isn't the thing for you, but what ever you do, be sure to moistuize because otherwise your skin could get red and chapped, and if you dont moisturize the oil glands in your skin work overtime and produce twice the oil, which is the last thing that you want. And make sure whatever you use that its oil-free, and alcohol free. Hope it helps!

I have tried SO many anti-acne products and only a few have really worked for me. Most of the products that I can recommend you can pick up at Sephora ~ a couple are a little spendy but so worth it. However, I think the best way to prevent blemishes, in addition to washing your face in the morning, is to wash your face at night before you go to bed. When you sleep, you smush your face into your pillowcase, which smushes the day's make-up, dirt, etc into your pores and causes major break-outs. No matter what products you use, good skin care is essential to keeping break-outs at bay.
Here are the products that I use:
-Purity Made Simple by Philosophy (am & pm)
-Peter Thomas Roth AHA/BHA Acne Clearing Gel (pm)
-3x week I also use Clinique Strength 3 Clarifying Lotion (am)
-2x week The Microdelivery Peel by Philosophy (am or pm)
Exfoliation is sooooo important.
Anyway, I hope this helps!!!

As you can see by the many answers, there are many answers! But you want to know what will work for you, so my recommendation is to know how acne is caused and how to treat it. You will then know exactly what you personally will need. Read my article "Zap thoses Zits Now" to arm yourself the the right information.
See why these 3 acne issues need to be addressed at the same time. Excess oil, bacteria and clogged pores.
Find out what you can do to resolve each of these issues.
What ever cleansing product works best for you, make sure the companion products are from the same company!
You can do this!
Best wishes

I've found that really only Noxema works best for me, but it sucks for my brother. My girlfriend said proactive made her face worse. I think you have to just experiment with all of the options and find one that works. I found that washing my face morning and night and having a clean pillowcase prevents pimples for me.

I've tried almost everything.
Clearasil face washes work great, but for me they tend to dry up my face.
I guess it just depends on what condition your skin is in.
If nothing works for you, ( nothing works for me except Proactiv ) then i recommend seeing a dermatologist. Either that or you try Proactiv.
Proactiv works wonders for me. It clears my face up without overdrying and i love it. I hope I helped! :]

i have found that Neutrogena oil-free acne wash daily scrub (in the orange tube) works the best for my skin. you should also try the oil free anti-acne moisturizer with the scrub. I have used proactiv as well but you basically have to use it for the rest of your life. if you slack up with it, your face will break out horribly. also, do not mixed neutrogena product lines, your face will break out from that as well.
