What does background information means when you're doing a science fair project?

Question

I trying to do my project on Crystal Garden and I want to know what does that word means.

Give my example for constant variable,independent variable, data sheet, procedure, graphs, charts, dependent variable, conclusion, and biblography for the crystal garden project.

I meant ''me'' not "my" for that 1st detail

If you are doing a science project, you should have a stated set of conditions, a description of what you did and what happened and the stated results. If you go into the history of the kind of experiment you are doing, when the elements were discovered, explain why you decided to do this project, all of that is background information.
"I poured 1 quart of water in a glass 8" tall and 2" in diameter. It overflowed" is a statement of an experiment. (Not a very good one.)
"We got a new set of glasses and when I poured milk in them because I poured the same amount time as before but my mom said the glasses were smaller than the old ones and I had to watch the glass when I poured." is background information.

A successful science fair project does not have to be expensive or even terribly time consuming
Find out about what you want to investigate. Read books, magazines or ask professional who might know in order to lean about the effect or area of study. keep track of where you got ALL your information.
First of all when you want to know what something means look up the question as in defining the word or phase. But.. before you go off looking for what you think something is and what you will find you will have to perhaps got to a type of topics or study-such as in your case perhaps for if you looked for Crystal gardens you will find something on the Reiki healing and other health healing and balances via crystals. I recently judged a Jr. High science fair. Some of the fair projects were really creative. "They color of cool"Can the color of shingles affect the temperature of a house? "Night Writers" - How does lack sleep affect your motor skills? They had people stay up all night giving them typing test at various points of the night and after things like drinking a cup of coffee. "The unpopables" - Which brand and/or flavor of popcorn has fewer un popped kernels ? There were so many that were great. but these are the ones that I remember as the best
