My older sister gave me some of her old boots and after a day out (such as going to the mall) I came home and my feet were sore. I though this was due to the boots originally fit her feet but this is not the case since I bought a new pair of boots yesterday and at the end of the next day my feet were sore just like the old boots any ideas to help my sore feet after a day in boots? (My shoes do not do this only my boots.) :-(

Your feet aren't use to your new boots. You might need to break them in. Also you might want to make sure it is a right fit. You shouldn't try to fit a wide foot into a narrow boot. Also a lot of people are into trends....I would advise you to listen to your feet...When you get home soak your feet or you will start to have problems.

Not all boots (or shoes) are created equal. The boots need to be the correct size to fit your feet, and it might take a few days of wearing them to "break them in", that is, the insole needs time to contour itself to your foot. Until then your feet will feel sore for a while after you wear them.

It's got to have something to do with the fit. Either the shape is not right, like if they're too tight at the ankle or calf. Or maybe the cushion on the sole of the feet is not enough. Or too narrow at the toe. Try to zero in on all aspects of their design. It can't be your feet, as you say your shoes are okay, so it has to be something in the fit or design of the boot!

You need larger boots. And the correct socks. I always get my boots a half size larger. Boots work better with thick socks or two pair of socks.

They're probably too tight. Maybe you have wide feet and should consider buying shoes/boots for wide feet.
