Probably not. If you have legitimate doctors notice then there are laws the protect you.

Hey, I live in Arizona! Ok anyways, my friends mom worked for Tri City Property Manegement and was really sick. The doctor said she could have cancer. She was out of work for a few weeks so her job fired her. Luckly she found a new job but I'd say you could lose your job.

Up to the manager and the thing that caused you to miss those weeks. Mind you 3 weeks is a very long time, and most managers would get rid of someone like that, especially if your job includes sickpay.

Well if i were your boss i most likely would, but since you have Dr. notes probaly not. To me it would depen if your boss wants to let you work there or not. When you go back to work, or if you already are back at work then you should work as much and as hard as you can. I hope you don't get fired. Everybody needs a job.

Sadly, companies can fire anyone - and for any reason - and at any time! Hopefully, since you have doctors notes and have been keeping your employer up to date, they will not fire you, but there are no guarantees. You, at least are doing the right thing by communicating with them. Good luck!

I you have a bona fide medical condition I would have to say that the employer would be a jackass to fire you. Whether or not it is legal is a question best answered by a lawyer.
If you think you have been illegaly fired try the link below.

If I were boss, yes. See, there comes a time when everyone else on the job can no longer ''cover'' for you and someone is needed to permanently do the work that you once did. That time may have come.

If you have dr's notes, covering the entire three weeks, then they probably can't fire you for that. However, they can fire you for a different reason (because they are pissed off that you missed three weeks).

Not if you have doctors notes and keep in touch, its not considered a no show/ no call so You shoud be fine, You might lose hours and be less credible when you do return though

By law, if you have a doctors note for an illness, you cannot be fired. If you are, then you can sue your boss because it's against the law.
