Today will be my 15th day on birth control pills...EVER. This morning my boyfriend and I had sex and we were being silly afterwards and the condom got stuck in me. Soo he got it out. Well, my question is if im on birth control (although not for long) and he pulled it straight out of me AND if it has spermicide in it what are my chances of getting pregnant? And no, im not under 18. Thank you and please only anwers from people who know about this (ex: nurses, etc)

Although there isn't a percentage to give, I would still say slim. Being mid cycle can be tricky, as with a normal 28 day cycle, mid cycle is usually about the time you ovulate. Just take the normal precautions and in 2 weeks when your period comes, you'll feel relief. If it doesn't come, call your doctor. Good luck.

Well in general you are protected after the 7th day on the pill. One problem with birth control pills is that you dry up a little and the chances of something like that happening are higher. If you've been taking the pill in the reccommended manner i.e. one every day around the same time a day you really should be fine. The pill when used correctly is the best form of birth control out there barring surgical intervention!

Well i am also on the pill, i have been on it for a little over a year and i have learned a lot about it since. I use condoms with spermicide as well. It normally takes about a month or 2 for the pills to take effect in your body. You should be okay, but if your scared go to your local Planned Parent Hood and ask for their pill i think its called the 72 hour pill. It kills any possible sperm that could of gotten into you and eliminates your possibility of being pregnant. But you should be okay. Hopefully everything works out okay good luck! Dont be scared!

Read your birth control label, most are effective within 7 days of taking them in a row. The label should say. It should also say use a back up method within a certain time frame of staring the pills. Spermicide should do the trick, especially if the semen was still inside the condom, which it sounds like it was. I wouldn't worry, make sure you take your pills at the same time each day for the most effectiveness.

Well, when I first read your questoin, I thought that when we serve God we experience his power, whether that be serving the less fortunate in our backyard or overseas. Serve our children in Sunday scool, or connect with youth in a youth group. Better still connect with a troubled lost youth and make a differnce. Spend a night at a homeless shelter and just liten if one gives you the chance. Host a small group in your home - studying the word, or participate in one and prayerfully open your heart to another. Answer questions here at YA, or be there for a friend or neighbour in need. Forgive, even when it is difficult to forgive. Love those who are hard to Love. In all these and so many many more, we can feel God's power. If we are in the word and pray without ceasing he gives us the wpower to do so much and he speaks direcly to us. We are so blessed.

When did you start taking the pills?
Theoretically, your pills are effective from the 7th. day if you start using the Sunday start (begin taking pills Sunday after your period starts) or the 5 day start cycle (begin taking pills on the 5th. day of the menstral cycle). However, for practical purposes you should not consider yourself safe until the end of the first cycle.

It really depends. If you started the birth control on the first day of your period then youre def protected. If not you still should be protected, but theres no guarantee. Have you been taking it at the same time everyday?
