The problem seems to be in the brain, not in the genitals, hands, or any other body part for that matter. This implies that cutting off such parts will do nothing to the urges, and they are the urges that lead to sex offenders doing such offenses.
On a second note: Cutting off ones hands for any purpose is cruel and robs the majority of people of their livelihood.

Some sex offenders use other objects besides their "it". I don't think there is a good solution yet, because it is all mental. The problem will never be fixed until we deal with the mental aspect of why they are behaving the way they do.

Your cutting off the wrong thing. In learning about nursing we went through the different biological systems and one was the harmonal system. If you remove their testicals as ancient kings found out the desire is gone. Then they could be used in the court to take care of the harrems. When certain postrate conditions exist and they are removed their desire is gone and they think on other things. They also can't get anyone pregnant.
Some men have requested it , so they are not tormented by these feelings they can't do anything about. Such as pedofiles and rapists. Then they are cured. It is like ovaries you can live very well without them. They do it to male dogs to make their lives more pleasant.

Not all sex offenders are men. Thinking this just shows how prejudiced and ignorant people are on this subject. I have a woman sex offender living next door to me right now.
So what do you propose be done about the female ones? Do we snip off their clit and sew up their vagina? Maybe lop off their breasts as well?

I'm not trying to be offensive here, but I think that anyone who has a history of sexual offenses should be castrated, so they can't hurt anyone again. Some of them just can't control themselves so it would be kinder for them also to have the operation.

It would seem poetic justice, but I would want to be sure the courts had ruled righteously. Can you imagine the lawsuit if someone managed to prove they had been wrongfully convicted?
