1. School newspaper. The topic was about a local issue that would only pertain to local audience, particularly a campus environment.

2. "Young teacher dismissed" more clearly defines the topic to be covered. "Teacher sacked in all-fail storm" is very confusing, but is someone alluring. the phrase "all-fail storm" seems to be out of place in the title. Both titles seem to be loosely translated and foriegn in nature.

3. The first article juxtuposes the students against the teacher and takes a more unbiased approach, while the second article uses the students to complement the teacher and uses more adjectives to designe a pre-disposition of the teacher.

4. "Bearded, leather-jacketed Mitchell...", "One of Mitchell's pupils, blonde, 16-year-old Cheryl..."

5. Be cause of predisposed opinions of the writer.

6. The fact that all of his students failed their GCSE English exam.

7. According to the first article, he assumed the role last December. Considering that GCSE exams are generally giving in the spring, his contribution was probably minimal.

8. The first article, being more formal in nature might include a photo of the school board. The second article might include a photo of the blonde student or the teacher in his "leathers and beard".

9. The first artcile offers Mitchell's defense as a conclusion. The second article offers Mitchell's dismal results as a conclusion.

10. The first article is more fact oriented while the second expresses the agenda and the opinion of the writer.
