Many alternative medicine disciplines are on the rise. People are beginning to realize that conventional medicine seeks to treat symptoms and make a truckload of money. Alternative medicine, on the other hand, seeks to cure or help people cure themselves by giving the body what it needs in order to effect a cure. For example... name one antidepressant that has cured anyone of depression. You can't because there aren't any. Yet people are cured of depression all the time through good health and the right type of therapy. I'm not a big believer in homepathy, but many folks are getting help from it, so it can't be all bad.

that crap rises and falls in cycles. in 5 years you wont be hearing anything about, and then in 15 years or so itll be a fad again. people get fed up with prices and stuff and then they look for alternative means, and then they realize the alternative means dont work so then they go back to traditional. i really thought that post right before mine was funny about how nobody has ever died in homeopathic treatment- THATS BECAUSE THE DRUGS DONT DO ANYTHING!!!! a lot of people have died because they seek homeopathic treatments for serious illnesses when they could have been saved by traditional medicine. i know i read some alternative med book once (i think it was trudeau's) and it said AIDs wasnt caused by a virus, its caused by the anitretroviral drugs themselves and poor nutrition. thats just retarded and im sure some people listened and quit taking their drugs and died prematurely. i like homeopathy for minor to moderate stuff like aches and pains and non-clinical depression because it keeps people from being overtreated when they should just suck it up and deal with it, but i really think people should be jailed for pushing it on people who have serious ailments because its flat out dangerous to give false hope. i cant beleive how many people actually beleive in the stuff, homeopathy is 80% placebo atleast, look at some scientific studies comparing it to sugar pills

For 35,000,000 Europeans, homeopathy is the medical system of first choice. In the 200 years that we have had homeopathy, no one has ever died from treatment. In contrast 1,700,000 patients in the UK end up hospitalised from conventional medical treatment and in the US, iatrogenic (doctor caused) issues are the third leading cause of death.
Perhaps facts like these are causing people to reflect on the possibility that homeopathy may have a great deal to offer them. Despite its detractors who use "scientific" arguments that are a quarter century out of date.

Only on this site. I personally hate to see people die because of homeopathic treatment.
