my parents will not let me get a cell phone but i want one more than anything.what are some reasons that i could give them?
they say i dont need one but i really really want one

Noooooooooooooo! Don't do it! They are a pain in the bum and not true to all the hype and marketing manipulation. If you really must have one, get a pay as you go phone and you pay the bill so your parents don't have to.

tell them that emergency's can happen anywhere and that it would be most ideal to have a cell phone.

tell them that if something happens at school, and you cant use the school's phone to contact them, they are going to wish that they would have gotten you one.
