My undergrad was criminology. In retrospect, it was a waste of time and not very useful. You should major in an area that you want to practice law. I didn't want to be a criminal lawyer. I originally picked it because I thought it would look good to law schools (it doesn't, nor does poly sci) or that I might be a FBI agent. I figured I could always change my major. Once I learned about the FBI, I decided I didn't want to do it. Never got around to changing my major. Totally should have.

Law school takes up a lot of time, but I did have a part time job during my 3rd year.

If you need to work (only if you have a family to support, otherwise, just live off of loans like most law students), then consider a part time program. Otherwise, don't count on more than a part time job. I wouldn't even take a part time job your first year at all.

First year salary for a lawyer ranges anywhere from $35,000 to $125,000. Mine was somewhere in the middle.

Get a clean criminal professional and record the papers in court to regulate your criminal professional, and do not pay her yet another dime. If she needs the money from you, she'll ought to reveal the court a signed value contract even as she sues you, yet when there is not any contract, then she has no case. you are able to also sue HER for taking you money and not in any respect doing something. call the court to work out if this woman set up a listening to date in any respect, and if not, then you genuinely can sue her and get that a refund. If there's a date set, then get yet another criminal professional to signify you at that listening to and do not be disturbed about the old criminal professional.
