it takes over 14 days for them to work and yes for the first few weeks makes sure you use a condoms cause if you dont you have the chance of falling pregnant.

you should go through a full cycle on your birth control pills...and just to be on the safe side go through 2 cycles.

you have to be on them for one full cycle, but they don't protect against std's.
