I was born gay and I will remain that way. To change it would be an admission that there is something wrong with being gay and it is not wrong.

When I was younger I would have changed, I just wanted to be the same as all my friends. Now I wouldn’t change because I’ve learned so many lessons in life. Being gay has made me a more loving, tolerant, compassionate person who feels the pain of others. I have the best partner in the world and a love that people search a lifetime for. Why would I want to give that up? To be like all those abusive people on here who can’t come to terms with someone they see as different.

That's is a good question. To be honest I would have to think about that. At one time I would had to say change, but now I accept who I am, however, life would seem to be easer due to women hitting on me all the time, but I never get guys hit on me. Living here in the South maybe chage, but live some where els where there's more gay men I would stay.

If the only thing you knew was being gay, why would you want to change? That would be extremely difficult. I would definitely stay gay. I think changing your homosexuality through science sounds unnatural. Plus, if you are in a same-sex marriage or union, you wouldn't want to lose that.

Definitely Stay the same! Why should I change to keep a bunch of bigots happy. And if I had to change (if it were possible) I would lose the love of my life, which I am not prepared to do.

Gay people are not hurting or harming people therefore, we are doing nothing wrong, so who can say that we must change.

TO THE GAYS WHO CLAIM THAT GAYNESS IS NOT GENETIC - HAH!

Everything we do or 'choose' is driven by genetics.
I don't like chips yet my twin brother loves 'em.
Genetics.

Some people grow to be clever and some grow to be thick.
Genetics.

It is not very probable that geneticists will find a gene for being gay, BUT it IS possible.

As a Heterosexual, I would advise anyone to remain the way you feel you should be. To change yourself at a genetic level to alter your sexuality is, to be blunt, stoopid!

I would stay. What's the point of changing yourself to be something you weren't meant to be in the first place? You're doing nothing but ruining your body, and what if at some point you regret changing yourself, and you can't change back? There's pretty much nothing that can be done. I love myself the way I am and would not change one single thing about my body.

Science does not give you a choice on sexual orientation. I wouldn't change anything anyways .. I'm a naturally perfect gay man!

And if that don't rock .. nothing does!

I'm a straight girl, but if I was gay I would be proud of who I was and make no attempt to change the way I was born. Your sexuality is a part of you.
