intelligent can be defined by you.

for me the following dont qualify:
michael moore and anne coulture.

spelling? spelling is mechanical. anyway i dont pretend to be a panelist myself.

How are we defining intelligent? Most of the people I see on TV "news" are articulate and generally knowledgeable, but I'd knock off major intelligence points for the way they pander to the consumer-driven yelling that passes for social discourse.

For starters, James Carville, William F. Buckley, Lou Dobbs are quite intelligent. (These are well-known TV commentators.)

So are William Greider, John Pilger, PJ O'Rourke and Paul Krugman. (Newspaper & Magazine columnists.)

Robin Williams he is smarter than any of them. I nominate him for President, and George Carlin for vice-president.
