what does queer mean?

Technically, it means "unusual"! It only recently became a slang word for people who are attracted to their same gender. At first, it started out as a rude word, meant to insult people with. However, now it has become a legitimate term for people who are sexually attracted to people besides the opposite sex. For example, there are "Queer Pride" parades, and you can even major in "Queer Studies" in universities. If you would like to read an informative article about this, wikipedia has a good one:

inreference to homosexuals societys first name for men liking men i.e. "hes a queer". I think its an offhand way of labling used in reference to a misunderstsnding of a new way of life.

Depends on how it was used.
Yes it could be aka gay.......But also...it means stupid. I say it when there is something that I think is really really stupid.
