Which one puts out the strongest field, but takes up the least amount of space?

As stated in another answer, they all do. It's the nature of electric motors to generate significant em fields whether they are induction, brush type, or others... they all do it. Because of this, motors placed in sensitive areas such as magnetic media drive systems, use what is called a mu (mew) shield. Which keeps the em field in check.

In my opinion - electric motors are a BAD thing.

I have a customer site that had a small fan under their operating console this past summer. The motor in that small fan generated horrible artifacts in the MRI system located about 15 feet from that fan.

The magnetic field from that fan was interfering with the magnetic field of the MRI system..............

All motors generate EM fields. Some are shielded better than others, but they all generate them.

As for your 2'nd question, you'd just have to measure them all to find out.
