It is far more important to define what you want from your English major - is it to build to a Masters or PhD and higher level teaching? Is it for creative writing or journalism or commercial writing? Is if for technical writing and do you need strong science to go with it or do you need strong government or social studies training to be educated about what you will write about?

I think all universities offer English. If you want to be unemployed there are cheaper and easier ways than going to college
