I’m in a trivia competition (Team Quest), and the theme is “The Arts”. I was wondering what you would study to get prepared for the competition?

Any general overview of Literature, Fine Art, Music and Dance.

It is by definition a very broad subject and the winner will no doubt be someone who has had a lifelong interest in the Arts.
Most questions will no doubt be about European artists, their particular specialties (cubism, impressionism, realism etc.) and the names of some of their most famous works. I would think that your review of a good broad based book on art and artists would be a good memory jogger when it comes to answering trivia on this subject.
